Ashley & Austin | Louisville KY engagement photographer

Love must be in the air - this is the third engagement session I’ve had in a month!  But it’s the perfect season for it especially at Bernheim Forest, where we shot Ashley and Austin’s engagement pictures.  The wildflowers were blooming like crazy! It was beautiful and a perfect setting  for this couple.  You know when you meet some people and you just know right away that you’re going to like them and that they are truly genuinely nice people??  That’s how these guys are.   They have so much going for them too - both of them are set to graduate from college in the spring right before they get married and start grad school.  And to top it all off… they’re U of L fans!!! Yay!!!  Even if they weren’t I wouldn’t mind :).  I had a great time getting to know them and I was just floored and so touched when about a week later, I’m getting ready to leave for a photo session and they pull up on the street with a gift for me!  I had had to change the time of our session around and it was blistering hot the night we did pictures so they got me the most awesome awesome U of L thermal cup with a lid to take with me to my sessions!   I just can’t get over how thoughtful it was and how they went out of their way to bring it to me!   (And they were right, ice like WILL NOT melt in this thing! Even after sitting in the hot car for an hour!).  I really feel honored to be their wedding photographer and look forward to working with them more!
