I am so excited to announce that I will be holding another round of mini sessions! These will be June 23 and 24th down at Waterfront Park. It is such a great place – the river, the skyline, the boats, the sculptures, the beautiful park… so much to work with! With the session fee ($210) you get a 25 minute session (perfect for the little ones with short attention spans ), 5 digital files, and an 8×10 print of your favorite image. All of that is a $300 value! I have about 16 time slots available and they fill up fast so call or email me to reserve your spot as soon as possible!

I love getting outside and getting to do something a little different for newborn sessions I had been eyeing this spot in my neighbors backyard for weeks – it had the most beautiful light and one of those pink trees (weeping cherry? is that what they’re called?) But I knew I had to have this session there and it was perfect

Look at all of these adorable adorable kids!!! SO well dressed, well behaved, FUN, colorful and just all around perfect!! I had such a great time capturing all of the personality of these guys! And looking at these smiles made me feel better after the game yesterday I still love my UL cards though!!

This family session was something a little new for me – I’m used to working with lots of little babies and toddlers but this time, I got to work with some little ladies that were just a little older and it was so refreshing! They were a blast and just full of spunk – not camera shy at all and I LOVE that! They reminded me of my sister and I when we were younger and how we would be laughing and playing one second and getting one each other’s nerves the next lol But I could tell they were best friends and really did adore each other . Seriously one of the most fun sessions ever!

I don’t know about you but I am so thrilled that the seasons are changing and we are soon to have plenty of warm sunny weather! Perfect for getting outside and getting some beautiful new family portraits made! I am excited to announce 2012 Spring Mini Sessions for March 30 & 31 this year! They will be at Locust Grove – SUCH a beautiful location and I am planning on having am optional easter egg hunt theme for the kids! Having a fun activity for them to do will surely get us some genuine smiles! It looks like the weather is going to be warming up soon and hopefully I’ll be able to get out and do lots of sessions this year! Right in time for senior portrait season too! Here is a peek at my last senior of 2011 – Rachael! How gorgeous is she?? Seriously she has one of the best smiles ever! We got rained on a little during this session and luckily we had a cute umbrella to make the most of it! She was so awesome to work with and I had lots of laughs with her and her sister who came along to help out. I can’t wait for this year’s seniors – if they’re even half as awesome as last years were, it’ll be a fun year!

So it’s that time of year again… time to get those senior portraits made! I had so much fun last year and got to work with so many great girls! I am full of ideas for this year’s group and can’t wait to get started!! This is the chance you get to wear your favorite clothes, do your makeup, have your hair done and go out and flaunt it because this is the BEST year of your life! :) I’ll make sure to give you the artistic, natural portraits you want that you will LOVE to show your friends now or your grandkids in the future!

And what’s even better is that a few lucky seniors will get their sessions for free!! All you have to do is apply (or NOMINATE someone if you are a friend, parent, teacher or anyone else who knows a senior). Who am I looking for?? Any senior who is friendly, stylish (and there are many different styles – whether it be punk, sporty, trendy, classic, etc.), outgoing, and who would be more than happy to show off their awesome pictures and spread the word about Kelly Beach Photography!

I will choose 1-2 seniors-to-be per high school and those seniors will receive a free mini session, 100 rep cards to pass out to friends, and then can earn thier full senior session, discounts on packages, and even gift cards to their favorite places (Forever 21, American Eagle, Starbucks – you name it!) depending on how many of their friends they refer. I am also in the process of finding some awesome hair and makeup artists to collaborate with to make you look your very best for your senior session!

So hopefully you’re as excited about this as I am and ready to fill out the senior rep application! I will be choosing reps the rest of the month and will be contacting those seniors by the first week of March to set up their initial sessions.

First of all, welcome to my new blog!!! I thought I would never finish it – all the computer jargon I had to read and process gave me quite the headache!! But it was worth it! I hope you all like it! And there’s no better way to launch a fresh blog than with a fresh 6 day old newborn! Meet Ollie (LOVE that name!). He was a perfect angel and he’s got the sweetest older brothers – we took some time to get some pictures of them just hanging out and playing with some legos and the iphone while Ollie was having a snack . I just love this family!
